Y Felin is a luxurious self-catering barn conversion with its own hot tub exclusively for guests at no extra cost. It has a wood burning stove as well as central heating, large comfy settees, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area. All the bedrooms are en-suite. There is ample secure parking and safe storage for bikes / golf clubs.

There is a private garden which is secure for young children and a large play area with swings, slide, ride on toys and a trampoline. There are plenty of farm animals to see: cattle, sheep, ponies, chickens, cats and very friendly dogs.

Spoilt for choice for beaches, we have Cefn Sidan on our doorstep, the beach and harbour at Burry Port, and Ferryside beach just over 2 miles down the road, great for building sandcastles. Tenby and the Gower beaches within easy distance and the beaches of Pemrokeshire make a glorious day out.

Local gardens include the National Botanical Gardens and Aberglasney house and gardens. We have numerous castles in the area with Kidwelly, Carreg Cennen , Llansteffan and Dinefwr castle /Newton House being our favourites.

Pembrey Country Park, 4 miles away, has a dry ski slope, riding facilities, adventure playground and a 7 mile stretch of sandy beach. It is the start of the Millennium coastal path, which provides many miles of paths for cyclists and walkers. Bikes can be hired at the ski centre in Pembrey Country Park.

There is a 20-minute walk from the farmyard down through the woods to the town of Kidwelly where a visit to the castle is thoroughly recommended. There are also walks and bridle paths from the farm to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

We are within easy distance of the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire National Parks.

The Kings Arms in Llansaint, 2 miles away, provides good quality food and The Red Lion 4 miles away in Llandyfaelog is a great rival. Carmarthen is the old market town of the area and it has maintained its character with original shops and restaurants as well as cinemas and a bowling alley.
