Coastal Wood Holidays are five award winning cottages nestled between Pendine Sands and Amroth Beach. Set in 17 acres of meadows and woodland. Short drive to Laugharne, Tenby and many fantastic tourist attractions.
Coastal Wood Holidays is based at Clyngwyn Farm, Marros. Set amongst 17 acres of organically certified pasture and woodland. An old dairy and sheep farm dating back before 1850, which has seen many changes. The beautiful stone ranges were recently converted to five individual holiday cottages (The Nook, Dairy Cottage, The Buttery, Keepers Cottage and the Granary Barn).
Each cottage retains much of the original character, with hand crafted beams and wooden dowels on show. Every cottage is fully equipped with home comforts such as flat screen TVs, DVD players and wifi, and each cottage has high quality furnishings such as king sized beds, luxurious Egyptian Cotton bedding and snuggly throws. Some have four poster beds, and some have been specifially adapted as wheelchair assisted holiday accommodation. The Old Wood Store sells various local produce and a relaxing area whereby guests can borrow maps, guide books and find all the local information.
We are dog friendly and a perfect location for walking. Coastal Wood Holidays can be found between Pendine Sands and Amroth Beach. We are close to the start / finish point of both the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (named third best walk in the world) and the Carmarthenshire Coastal Trail, also the All Wales Coast Path and Cistercian Way passes near our doorstep. Within 10 miles from the cottages, eight separate blue flag beaches and numerous coves can be explored, as well as eight locations with the highly acclaimed 'Seaside Award'.
Whilst hidden away in the secret westerly corner of Carmarthenshire, Clyngwyn Farm overlooks the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Coastal Wood Holidays is the centre of some of the finest experiences which Wales has to offer. From blue flag beaches to boutique shops, beach horse riding through the waves to forest quad biking on muddy trails, vibrant festivals and colourful carnivals, picturesque galleries and decorative antiques, breath-taking coastal walks and Dylan Thomas talks. There is plenty to do, find and explore.
